to the Château Croix de Bertinat
Established since the 18th century on the lands of Saint-Emilion, Château Croix de Bertinat covers an area of 8.3 hectares in AOC Saint-Emilion and 0.3 hectares in AOC Bordeaux.
The entire vineyard benefits from a sandy and gravelly soil conducive to the production of high quality wines.
Led in sustainable cultivation and guided by the know-how of the team in charge of winemaking, our vineyard gives rise to two wines each expressing a specific tone of our terroir.

Sustainable development, environmental protection, respect for natural resources
By working the vines in a reasoned manner and banning any systematic use of herbicides and CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic), the castle is committed to respecting the application of the TERRA VITIS specifications.
The castle has obtained TERRA VITIS certification since 2018 and HVE level 3 (High Environmental Value) certification in 2021.

The wines
Elegant and harmonious wines
In order to improve the quality of the wine, during the years 2013-2014, a complete transformation of the cellar and a modernization of the production tool was carried out:
installation of temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, use of a vertical press, creation of an air-conditioned barrel cellar and a tasting room with a view of the castle's vines.
